Role: Assistant Scenic Designer

I was given concept images of what our set for the musical, Mamma Mia, should look like, and from there, I designed how the set would be constructed by drafting technical drawings, blueprints, and Solidworks renderings. The set needed to both look interesting and be functional so that the actors to perform their parts. To build the set, I organized and led a team of 30, leading to a successful performance. Through this I was able to develop my design skills by finding the optimal way to build items that had to be both functional and look interesting.
